Stand-Up Comedian Edith Veerhoek

Born in Mexico-city but brought up in the Netherlands. Edith Veerhoek has grown up between two cultures. This resulted in a critical and original view on the world. She can name the differences with ease between the Latino and “Cheeshead” culture but puts the emphasis on the similarities between people all over the world.

 

Her mother is a Spanish teacher, her stepdad is a cardiologist, her biological dad an architect. You can imagen her being the black sheep of the family because of her passion for comedy and theater. But because of these facts and her upbringing that came along with it she knows how to take u-turns in comedy writing and telling where no other comedian will go.

 

Edith combines humor during her "daytime-job" as a trainer in communication, marketing and job coaching. You can book this funny lady not only as a stand-up comedian but also as a guest lecturer about topics in the area of marketing, advertisement and job placement.

 

She has done this for different organizations such as: Erasmus University Rotterdam, Business School Rotterdam, The City of Rotterdam, Randstad etc.
